What's the best eyeliner pencil

I’ve never been good at lining my eyes with pencil. I only use pencil on the waterline and the only brand that lasts without smudging or disappearing for me is Nars in the Larger Than Life Longlasting variety. When I want to go to the trouble of lining my eyes, I use Bobbi Brown eye shadow in Smoke usually, applied wet with a skinny eyeliner brush and to smudge, I go over the line dry with a skinny slant brush. I use another Bobbi Brown shadow in a silvery metallic shade called Sage applied with a dry thin brush to softly line at the bottom lash line.
